Cabernet Franc is our signature wine. It is fruit forward with a silky mouthfeel, soft tannins and a long finish. It is a blend of 88% Cabernet Franc from the magical Chelle den Pleasant and Weinbau Vineyards and 12% Cabernet Sauvignon from Bacchus, Seven Hills and Weinbau Vineyards.

007 Cabernet Sauvignon, “Sagemoor” – 210 cases - $33.00This Cab is 75% Cabernet Sauvignon from Sagemoor’s Weinbau Vineyard blended with 15% Merlot and 10% Syrah, both from Sagemoor’s Bacchus Vineyard. The wine has a nose of black cherry, red raspberry and dark cocoa with a hint of vanilla in the background. The Cab has a soft but full mouth feel, a nice mid palate and a finish that will last until your next sip.
2008 Sangiovese, Red Mountain, Kiona Vineyard - 149 cases – $25.00
Barrister’s first Sangiovese is 100% Sangiovese from the Estate Vineyard at Kiona. The wine was aged for 15 months in 100% French Oak barrels. With a nose of bright red fruits and a hint of cranberry, the wine has the structure typical of Red Mountain with the acidity to make it a great accompaniment to a variety of dishes.
2007 Merlot, Walla Walla Valley – 271 cases - $25.00
This Merlot is a blend of 86% Merlot from the Dwelley Vineyard in Walla Walla, 9% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon from a block of old vines in the Bacchus Vineyard. The wine has a nose of smoky, sweet dark fruit with a hint of Amarone. With its soft tannins and a silky mouth feel, this wine typifies Barrister’s signature style.
2009 Riesling - 136 cases - $17.00
This single-vineyard dry Riesling is from 30-year-old vines at the Koinonia Vineyard near Sunnyside. This is only the second time we have produced a Riesling. Don’t hesitate on this one, or it will be gone. This wine is 100% Riesling. When you lift this to your lips, you’ll think it's already “Summertime.”
2009 Sauvignon Blanc, Red Mountain, Klipsun Vineyard – 90 cases - $19.00
Fron a block of Sauvignon Blanc planted in the '80s, this wine is made in an off-dry style (just a tich of sweetness). The wine was fernented with a yeast developed in Spain for hot climate Sauvignin Blanc. The wine has a nose of pear and granny smith apples. With such a small production, this wine will not be available long.

Our popular red blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cab Franc and Syrah hails from some of the finest vineyards in Washington State including Pepperbridge, Seven Hills, Bacchus, Dwelley and Weinbau. It has a complex, smoky nose of dark jammy fruits, mouth-filling silky tannins and a long finish.
